This hack does not solve the "DataFormat.Error: We found an unexpected character in the JSON input \31" error. I believe this error occurs when you try to extract too much data and exceed whatever daily limit GA enforces. Which is strange because it is extremely hard not to exceed this daily limit and if you use other ETL tools, e.g. ADF, to extract data from the GA4 API the experience indeed very good, no limits in my experience and fast. Anyone knows a hack to work around the limitations of the Google Analytics connector? Or Alternatively, how to add a WHERE clause to the query?

Great review Ruth. Seriously, your review of the updates are much better than Microsoft's. I'm really interested in learning more about the PBIR format and git integration. We're looking into that more.

anyone had same issues that when try to manually "refresh data" by right click on data table, the refresh windows doesnt come up just like usual? just got my June 24 version of PBI. annoying doesnt know wether iam still refreshing data table or not

I love the .pbir format as we version control some of our reports. However, when I switched to the new .pbir format all my bookmarks disappeared :(. After some testing it turns out that any bookmarks that are in a group do not get saved in the .pbir format. If you remove grouping from all your bookmarks after converting your report (before you save and close the report for the first time) then you should be okay (fingers crossed).

Now, the question is would it show us which all visuals are using that measure or just dependency of measure on another measure. Looking forward to a video on the channel and use this in my reports. 😉✌

IT has made it difficult for me to update Power BI now. I have to jump through many hoops and beg them to allow me to update. So, I'll skip this update. I have to pick my battles.

Ok, I do not agree with the whole comparrison :D You are comparing apples and oranges here. Power Bi is part of Fabric package, and it is matchure. Even if PBi is on fabric capacity, people will not suddenly switch to fabric forum to ask questions. The same goes with Python workbooks. Most likely you would ask Python related questions on Python forums anyway. So you are left with Fabric only questions to be asked on Fabric forums. But even then, most of Fabric features are old features repackaged underone name. So naturely people would already know a lot by now and ask fewer questions. Nice looking report though!

So 3200 days for Power BI takes us back to late 2015. But Power Query, the Data Model and Power View had been around a couple of years already then. Power BI was essentially a re-branding so a quick take off is not surprising. Also a usable version of Power BI was available for all whether you were working for a big company, small company or on your own. So adoptions was feasible for absolutely everyone. Fabric can only practically be used by those in large organisations that have already made the switch. So a subset of those using Azure with a switched on IT department to have moved to Fabric already. Many just aren't ready to make that change and many smaller organisations will never be ready. Sure I can register for a trial version of fabric but there isn't much I can do with it outside an organisation. In other words not a fair contest.

I think, Microsoft fabric hav powerBI service within for practicing/data analytics.....and it is the only way we can do PowerBI functions in the browser......?
